I think this is not Calc but LO. I had similar in Impress. Tried to print 6
slides per page (PDF export doesn't allow this).
We have (pages and default orientation): 1 L, 2 P, 4 L, 6 P, 9 L, 16 L which is
mostly OK.
But if I want to change 6 P to 6 L, I can't. Even if paper was Letter, it's
changed to A4 then and orientation remains P.
Repro in LO 6.0+.
