This does not completely prevent the user from interacting with LibreOffice, the application icon still apppears in the Dock and the application's own toolbar icons are still functional, but it is a problem nonetheless, e.g. there is no longer any obvious way to access the extension manager or many of the functions that are only available via the menu system.
