I would add that if a file is opened via Windows Explorer (locate file via
Windows Explorer, click on it so that LO opens with the file ready to edit, or
opens an additional instance/window for the file, it fails to appear in the
Recent Files list at all, even if it is saved again after editing. That is
unlike a file opened from an internet download in a browser, or if .
