Unfortunately it is the behaviour that LibreOffice has decided to have.

It is unfortunate, but it seems you will have to use one of these apps to do
the work you are doing.

Yes it didnt work for me either unfortunately, which was sad, but is a bug in
the screen readers i believe.

It is supported in LibreOffice, but not in the screen readers.
