Bug ID: 113564
Summary: EDITING: Memory is released slowly when copying a
large dataset first and small afterwards
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.1.0.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: tele...@surfxs.nl
Description:
Memory is released slowly when copying a large dataset first and small
afterwards
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the file found here: https://yadi.sk/i/rM9QctDym5y3M
2. Open a the task manager and monitor the memory usage
3. Copy columns A-C
4. Copy cell A1.
Actual Results:
LibO5.0 releases all the memory instantly after copying the small dataset (cell
A1). I takes a while with LibO5.1
Expected Results:
Should be as as fast as in LibO5 in my opinion. This probably will create
issues when running multiple instances of Calc and copying back and forwards
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
