This is a great idea, especially for CJK languages.

Currently If I send a ODF document created under linux to a windows user, the
content of the document is not showing exactly the same because I am using tge
only available open source fonts (e.g. Source Han Sans/Serif CJK), but the win
os does not have this font thus falling back to simsun.

It also important to bundle a Set of opensource font under linux, because
different destros installs different default CJK fonts by default. E.g., Fedora
uses Source Han Sans/Serif CJK (by Adobe), but Ubuntu promotes Nato Sans/serif
CJK (by Google). Although they are very similar, when share between different
OS the font will be not found and fallback to default.
