There is a response in the thread above that indicates the problem is with
Zotero, not with LibreOffice, and that you need to upgrade your version of
Zotero to a newer one without the buggy behaviour.
You also mention yourself that this is fixed in the thread you opened on
Zotero's forum with Zotero 5.0.29
