By "Delete key" you apparently mean "Backspace key" judging by the screenshots.
I copied "Created attachment 138358" from your description to Calc and I can
only delete the whole URL. I never delete one character at a time.
By "Text field" I take it you mean "Formula input field".
I tried everything, but could not reproduce the "one char at a time" behaviour
you observed.
To ensure the chosen input matches, can you please confirm you get the problem
with the "Created attachment 138358" block?
