On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today + gtk3 rendering, I tried
to reproduce the Eric's step by step process (I supposed "capture some text"
meant "select some text") but no pb here.
Perhaps I missed something.
Eric, you can also give a try to a newer version like 5.4.3.
