I can reproduce this only when the icon size is set to "automatic", like the
original report, and unlike comment 5. This seems to fix it for me:

But in this case, the bisect in comment 1 is wrong, as it must be caused by a
different commit (see commit message in gerrit). My guess is that the user
profile wasn't cleared during bisect, which might be affected by the
incompatibility described in the commit message of comment 1.
