The problem is resolved in my real work document. But then I tried with a new
file from scratch - and the situation is not better:
* with the OLE object created first, I get a "symbol only" display (see
attached screen1). Closing the document, reopening it will resolve that
problem.
* but then I get an even worse display of the formula (see screen2)
