Someone in #libreoffice was having the issue with missing main menu (the whole
thing, not just the item under the cursor, similar to bug 107764), and they
reported typing the following in terminal before starting up LO was a
workaround. Can you give it a try if it helps here?
"unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS"
