I am a user, not a developer (any more), and 35 years working in the IT
industry has taught me never to use such software!
If there is a bug in the officially released software, it needs attention, and
saying - " well, you should be using the slightly dodgy latest version "
doesn't help gain use confidence in your devotion to producing usable and
stable software.
