Is nobody working on this after more than two years?
I just encountered it with the compound adjective "temperature-sensitive": LO
Writer will happily insert soft hyphens after "tem", after "temper", after
"tempera", after "sen", or after "sensi". These additional hyphens all look
ugly and violate many style guides.
