Well, which is it? Will it replace my actual installation? Or will it not
install as a production version?
Seriously, I'm not here to bust anybody's chops but that sentence is messed up!
As far as the wording goes I offer:
2. Install it (NOTE: this is a <b>development version</b> and <b>will replace
your existing installation</b>).
And with all due respect, if it's not a release, it's not a release. It's a
Release Candidate. My thinking is, like the "LibreOffice Dev" alpha, anything
NOT an actual release shouldn't replace an existing application. The RC should
install as a separate application. At which time the RC becomes an actual point
release, the user may be informed via a update dialog box saying the RC is now
obsolete and LO 6.0 is now available for download.
What do you think? In any case, thanks for your time.
