If you only want to show the decimal points you have to format the cell as
currency. There is a currency symbol in the toolbar or apply it per Format >
Cells... > Numbers = Currency or per shortcut shift+ctrl+4. If you don't want
to see the currency sign format as number (shift+ctrl+1).
