Yes, I'm opening in your way. Using LibreOffice 5.4.3. After doing your steps,
LibreOffice reports me these TWO errors:

 - SQL State: HY000 - The connection could not be created. May be the necessary
data provider is not installed

 - Unable to create link to the data source
