I have recently updated to v6 of LibreOffice from 5. Unfortunately, the
programme tends to crash when I open a Writer file "Due to an unexpecte error"
and I get the option to recover the file. Recovery works and LibreOffice opens
and seems to work properly, but this never happened with version 5 and is
understandably annoying. I wonder if there is a bug in the new program?
