Summary: Can not open or save documents in Libre Office
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.4.5.1 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
After updating to 5.4.5.1 I can not open or save documents in LO.
- If I double-click an .odt the logo of LO can be seen for a second, than it
disappears and nothing happens
- If I start LO and try to open from inside the program via "open File" nothing
happens
- If I try to start one of the last opened files with double-click nothing
happens
- If I open a Template all is fine until I want to save it. Then it says
"object does not exist; file does not exist"
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I reinstalled LO via Synaptic
2. I overwrote ~/.config/libreoffice/... from a three weeks old backup
3. I created a new user and tried with that user
4. I started LO in recovery mode
Actual Results:
Nothing of the above helped to solve the problem
Expected Results:
should bee able to open files
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101
