We are having users that are saving documents into the various temporary
folders of other software packages that open LibreOffice. For instance, when
in Evolution (email) the document is in the tmp folder for that software and
when users do a SaveAs it defaults to the current folder. When the contents of
that folder are purged as part of normal housekeeping they lose their work. We
are requesting that LibreOffice look to an environmental variable for folders
that are invalid to save. If that is the working directory, it should then go
to their MyDocuments folder.
Something like this:
LO_INVALID_FOLDERS="/tmp;$HOME/.evolution/cache/tmp;$HOME/tmp"
