I noticed that in the file attached (table_sum.odt) numerical values in the
first column (from A1 to A4) are formatted as text (the cell in the 5th row is
of course formatted as number, since it contains a formula).
If we repeat the steps reported in Comment #1, but, after entering the
numerical data into the table, we change the format of the 4 numbers in the
first row from text to number, everything works as expected. (Or just check
"Number recognition" in Option --> Libreof. Writrer --> Table)
