Same problem here, using version 3.6 on Windows, and version 3.5.4.2 on Ubuntu
12.04 (64 bits). It doesn't matter the font I'm using to write my equations.
Plus symbol doesn't match it: OpenSymbol is used instead.
Any way to fix it?
