Description:
Full load on CPU core and loss of text selection UI. The programs has to be
restarted to continue, but with no lingering errors.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create columns of 4 on a selection
2. select all text command
3. select a new font type
Actual Results:
Full load on CPU core.
Visuals for selection are not available.
The cursor blinks outside the expected area, to the left.
Expected Results:
handled changes to font type in the columns section without error
Reproducible: Always
