--- Comment #17 from Kohei Yoshida <[email protected]> 2012-08-20 13:52:44 UTC --- It's a known issue that you can't save correct external path when saving from non-Windows platform (because we don't know which drive (i.e. C:, D: etc) the file is located). If you need to interact with real Excel users wrt external references in xls format, then you need to save those files on Windows. This is not a bug, but a known limitation and there is no fix for it.
