Older LibreOffice release does not have this problem, e.g. DEB release
from which I used until the said upgrade to 5.4 (;
so this bug might counts as a regression.

Screenshots of LibreOffice programs with system's task switcher
are now attached for comparison...

You would see that in each LibreOffice 4.4 screenshot, there is
a corresponding program icon displayed on top-left of its window
and system's task switcher dialog at the middle of screen;
unlike 5.4- which system's placeholder icon is used in both spots.
