Either with AddReplacementImages enabled or disabled, the output size is 7.3
Mbs, 10 times the original file...

I've bisected it and it points me to 3da86d8987db6223b0acc5d8a1b56f7e0c54bbef,
althought samuel's analysis in
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115005#c16 points to the
real commits causing this...
