Additional information (we had this problem in German users-list):
When activate the internal save-dialog through
Tools ▸ Options ▸ LibreOffice ▸ Advanced ▸ Expert configuration ▸
org.openoffice.Office.Common.Misc ▸ UseSystemFileDialog
the data could be saved.
I couldn't confirm this buggy behavior for OpenSUSE 42.3 64bit rpm Linux and LO
6.0.3.2, KDE.
