I didn't find this bug, and created bug 117339, for versions back to 4.1.6.2
Linux, sorry for the duplicate. I might have erroneously searched in the wrong
bug system (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/).
The entry #117339 also contains a xml fragment that - placed into slide xml -
shows slide numbers. Out of urgent need I did it manually unknowing if that's
the proper way and technique. Still it might be helpful to get ideas.
