Bug ID: 117572
Summary: Ubuntu upgrade to 18.04 adversely affecting some
Libreoffice programs
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.3.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Not sure where the bug resides, but...
I have upgraded from Ubuntu 17.10 to 18.04 LTS (64 bit), and superkey + arrows
no longer works consistently with LibreOffice programs. Superkey + left arrow
should snap the window to the left half of the screen, Superkey + right arrrow
to the right. Similarly, dragging the window left or right should achieve the
same placing. These functions still work correctly with Impress, Draw and Math
but no longer do with Writer, Calc or Base. However, if I open two of the
first three the others behave as expected while those are open but not when
they are closed again!
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open one Libreoffice program
2.Press superkey + right arrow (or: drag the window to the right)
3.Repeat with further programs
Actual Results:
With Impress, Draw and Math: the window snapped to the right half of the
screen.
With Writer, Calc and Base: nothing.
Same results with left arrow.
But while two of the first three programs were open the last three also worked
correctly.
Note: the Help window responded correctly when opened from any of the programs.
Expected Results:
All Windows should behave as described.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
