Bug ID: 117635
Summary: Enhancement request: PDF Export - Adding option for
embedding video into PDF
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
The recently added feature for embedding video data into the PDF file is nice,
but there seems no way to disable it.
Usually, I embed my movie files into my presentation and create a PDF file of
my presentation for two reasons:
1) to have a backup in case LibreOffice isn't working properly on another PC.
2) to create a small file for my students to download. So I would like to
create one PDF with embedded movies and one without embedded movies.
A simple checkbox within the PDF export options to enable or disable the
embedding video functionality would be solving the problem.
