Bug #: 54025
Summary: UI VIEWING: Unnecessary horizontal limitation on text
in Outline View
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 3.6.0.4 release
Platform: x86 (IA32)
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Presentation
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]

Screenshot showing the horizontal constraint on text in Outline View
In Outline View in Impress, the text is constrained to a very small width,
rather than being allowed to expand to the width of the application window.
This makes working with the text awkward, and makes it more difficult to get a
sense of the flow of ideas that Outline View should make easy.
I have attached a screen shot from a 24" monitor. As you can see, The slide
text is constrained to about 1/3 of the available screen space. The text should
be allowed to take up as much horizontal space as possible.
