What do you mean by "field"? Something like Insert > Field ? Or only an email in the normal text flow ? If it is the later, it is the standard behavior: automatic recognition of url http://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Turning_off_Automatic_URL_Recognition You can also replace the click by ctrl+click to activate internet links : Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Security > Option button. So setting status to NEEDINFO as we need more info from you to go forward. We will leave the bug in this status for 6 months at which time we'll close the bug as INVALID. If your bug is closed as INVALID after 6 months and you still experience it, please attach needed information and reopen the bug as UNCONFIRMED". Best regards.
