I have just reported a bug, and then downloaded LibreOffice 6.1 test version to
see if it could resolve the problem.
In fact it partly does so, in that it is able to stop corrupting the first
endnote as previously reported for Word 1997-2003. However, as can be seen, the
page size for the endnotes is still being reset upon saving.
I can alter the page size but once I close down and reopen the document then
the endnotes have a different page size to the rest of the document.
