It really looks like spacing between items on the list is calculated wrong.
I selected the whole list, then went to "format -> paragraph" and set space
below paragraph to 0.05 cm; that seems to fix the problem.
I'm not sure but I think the spacing calculation should be dependent on the
font used. Is there any metric on the font (Times New Roman, 12) that can point
us to that 0.05cm? If so, I don't think this is very hard to fix.
