If by font viewer you mean Libre Office's pull down menu, no, The ms-ttf
corefonts were not visible.
I neglected to mention I was using Synaptic to uninstall initially, reboot,
reinstalled via Synaptic and accepted the EULA several times without success.
Here's how I fixed the missing fonts: installed via commandline using sudo
apt-get install and package name. Turns out this may not be a Libre Office
issue exactly, as you probably know gdebi and gksudo are broken in Buster,
Bionic and Mint 19.
About the other fonts I don't need I'll submit that as a product suggestion for
future versions. Only install the fonts the user needs/wants.
