IMHO this is not a LibreOffice bug but just a feature (you may call it a bad
feature) of the newer MacOS X versions (IIRC, Apple changed the default
behaviour in function keys in MacOS X 10.4 or so ..., adding the interception
of most function keys by the OS).

Therefore we can’t “fix“ this in LibreOffice. Instead, please use System
Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts (or similar, this depends on the
MacOS version) to change the default meaning of the keyboard shortcuts and
F-keys. If you disable the use of F9, F10, etc. by any other functions (like
Exposé etc.), LibreOffice should be notified again about that these keys were
pressed.

Anyway, this is a general MacOS issue, not specific to LibreOffice. Therefore,
if you have further questions, please consult some Apple service or expert.

I am sorry that we can’t help you more, but this is just the truth. Thank you
very much!
