Roman Eisele <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |NEW --- Comment #4 from Roman Eisele <[email protected]> 2012-08-28 14:15:58 UTC --- REPRODUCIBLE with * LibreOffice 3.5.6.2 (Build-ID: e0fbe70-dcba98b-297ab39-994e618-0f858f0) * LibreOffice 3.6.1.2 (Build ID: e29a214) both with German langpack installed, on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Intel). The description with "left pane" etc. is a bit difficult (on my installation, the pane is on the right side ;-), but I still can reproduce rreno56’s report. Steps to reproduce: 1) Start LibreOffice 2) Create a new presentation 3) In the "Tasks" pane, select (= expand, open) the "Master Pages" section, and then try to resize the whole window wildly, especially squeeze it, just like for a small screen. -> As soon as not the whole contents of the "Master Pages" section can be visible at once (because the window is not height enough), a scrollbar appears, as expected and appropriate: correct. 4) Repeat the same with the "Layouts" section of the "Tasks" pane: -> the same result: correct. 5) Repeat the same with the "Custom Animation" section of the "Tasks" pane: -> the same result: correct. 6) Repeat the same with the "Slide Transition" section of the "Tasks" pane: -> the same result: correct. 7) Now try the same with the "Table Design" section of the "Tasks" pane. You would expect that a scrollbar appears when necessary, just like in the other sections. -> But as soon as not the whole contents of the "Table Design" section can be be visible at once (because the window is not height enough), parts of the "Styles" preview disappear and can no longer get selected; if you sequeeze the window even more, the whole "Styles" preview disappears, and only some of the checkboxes for the "Show" options are still visible; NO scroll bar appears. This is definitely a bug, and makes it difficult or even impossible to use the "Table Design" settings on a small screen, or when someone just needs/wants to make the window smaller for one or the other reason. I will attach some screenshots showing the problem. The solution is simple: we need a scrollbar to appear when not whole contents of the "Table Design" section can be be visible at once, just like in the other sections of the "Task" pane. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
