I did a short stress testing right now, =1 formulas in narrow (optimal width)
columns to have as many columns as possible to paint filling a screen width,
5000 rows, jump to end, hold PageUp to scroll to row 1: takes 5 seconds;
compiled to force EditEngine takes 30 seconds.

As said in my previous comment, for inline formatted content (i.e. per
character attribution) already EditEngine text is used.
