It is. Both View > View Grid Lines and Tools > Options > ... settings are
stored to the document (at least with ods). The only problem I could reproduce
is that View > View Grid Lines doesn't change the document to modified, so it
doesn't ask to save the changes upon closing. Is this what you meant to report
here?
