Bug ID: 118366
Summary: My father is unable to use the save button, hence
libreoffice
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: BASIC
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
The idea of putting an arrow right next to the save button, just rendered the
whole program unusable for my father.
It is very difficult for him to point the cursor strictly to the center of the
button, away from the "danger-death arrow" in order to save the file.
I understand that he is computer illiterate, but I promised him:
"You will only type your text and hit the save button".
I just stripped every button from the toolbar leaving the "save button" in the
center.
No way!!! After losing his work twice due to random infinite clicking in order
to "click an save the file" he keeps asking for Microsoft Word in his Windows
'98 old box.
It is not only "the save button that cannot save", it is also the bottom
toolbar that by accidentally clicking anywhere in it, pop ups appear which
certainly lead to the ravage of this user's experience.
Ok, I can instruct him how to avoid clicking on the bottom of the screen. It is
almost insulting to tell him that "although this seems to be a button, it is a
button that you should not click on its right side" ... because he cannot see
so clear!
Help?
