I just reproduced it on LibreOffice 3.6.0.4.
Steps:
- Open or create a document with multiple pages (for example, 10 pages)
- Create a footer
- Go to the footer, and in the menu 'Insert' / 'Fields' / 'Page Number'

Now you have pages from 1 to 10

- Double-click on the page number in the Footer, to have the window 'Edit
Fields: Document'
- The offset is to 0. Write 2 (to began first page of the document with Number
3)

Now what I should have: page number from 3 to 12.

BUT what I really have: page number from 3 to 10, and the last two pages
without number.
