Bug #: 54333
Summary: [EDITING] Regression: Can not change list style
"Options" through apply button
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 3.6.1.2 release
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Styles and Formatting window (F11)
2. Go to list styles
3. Ensure that list style window opens at "Position" tab (to do that: open
style window, go to "Position" tab, press OK)
4. Right mouse button on any style → Modify...
5. Switch to "Options" tab
6. Change anything (the most visible is switching numbering style from numbers
to uppercase letters)
7. Press "Apply" button
Window will switch tab to "Position" (most likely this is #38606). If you
switch back to "Options" tab, you will see that your changes have not been
made. "Options" state will be in state that it was when you have opened window
for the first time.
This works ONLY if initial tab (tab that is displayed when window is created)
is "Position". If initial tab is "Organizer", "Bullets" or anything else, then
changing something in "Options" tab and hitting "Apply" will work as expected
(changes will be made).
I could reproduce it on LO 3.6.1 on Debian (amd64) and Windows 7 (i686).
I could NOT reproduce it on LO 3.5.6 on Arch Linux (i686), therefore I mark
this as regression.
Best regards
Mirosław Zalewski
