Note that the error you see might have something to do with the version of JDK
you are using. However, it is completely unlinked to LibreOffice.
The standalone version recommended for Mac usage is just that - a standalone
version - if the GUI doesn't start, then the problem is a Java configuration
(or bug) one and not a LibreOffice one.
