That is probably true to a certain extent. However, you could help us further
by enabling trace logging in your ODBC driver options, and providing that trace
log here in the bug issue. So, for the time being, please leave the NEEDINFO
status. That would at least enable us to see what might be happening with the
calls to the server.

In your title, you mention a "remote" connection. This would imply that your
DB2 server and clients (WinXP? Vista? 7?) are not on the same physical machines
(unless they're virtualised).

Please provide us with these details.
