OR(WEEKDAY(A1)=6;WEEKDAY(A1)=7) returns TRUE for Friday and Saturday with type=1 (or missing) in WEEKDAY(date;type). Changing date origine in options modifies formatting accordingly . But columns B (TEXT function) and C (WEEKDAY function) need hard calculation (Ctrl+Shift+F9) after changing option.
