I can confirm this behavior (LO 6.0.5.2 with gtk3-kde5)
For a first workaround.
Start (plasma) System Settings
Select "application styles"
Select "Gnome Application Style …"
Set on the right site "On left-clicking the scroll bar:"
to "Jump to the mouse cursor position"
This change helped me.
