That's not the way it works.
Right-click on the sheet works the same way as Format - Copy, it copies the
cells selected in the sheet.
If you want to copy the whole sheet, you have to select all the cells first.
OTOH, you can also embed the spreadsheet into the writer document as an OLE
object.
