If I change the webservice from https://quotes.wsj.com/AUO/financials to
http://www.lipsum.com/feed/xml?amount=2&what=paras&start=Yes ( same as in bug
115710 ) I can reach 100 iterations

Definitely, it looks like a limitation in the webservice https://quotes.wsj.com
in the number of queries a user can do. Try to increase the waiting time
between iterations...
