I just installed the new version of libre Office (6.0.6.2) and noticed the
problem. Libre Office doesn't have to be running and the symptoms are still
there. I suspect the install program did something to the system software that
causes the problem.
I don't work for the NYT, but I don't know if you can get to the crossword
puzzle print icon without a subscription. No more snark please.
