            Bug ID: 119970
Summary: The auto-save feature jumps the page.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.1 all versions
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: keith.gruba...@aol.com

Description:
This is may be a bug or it may be something that was programmed on purpose, but
either way it's the most annoying problem I face. It is the only problem I have
with this software. In Writer (the only one I use) I write novels, and
sometimes I scroll back to a previous page, looking for something. But when the
program auto-saves, it jumps back to where the cursor is. I lose the place I
was looking for and have to find it again. This is beyond frustrating
(especially when you have 200+ pages of work). Is there a way to add a switch
so that this feature is optional? I would much appreciate it if it didn't jump
around every three minutes because it makes it that much more difficult to do
my work.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ensure auto-save is on.
2. Have multiple pages in a document.
3. Put cursor on any page other than the one you're on.

Actual Results:
The page jumps to wherever the cursor is upon auto-save.

Expected Results:
It should stay wherever you are, regardless of where the cursor is.

Reproducible: Always
